ELAC
English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
Each California public school district with 51 or more English learners must form a District-level English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) or subcommittee of an existing district-wide advisory committee. The purpose of the DELAC, or the subcommittee on English learner education, is to advise the district's local governing board on programs and services for English learners.
Peterson's English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) is overseen by Vice Principal Angela Kretsch. Four (4) meetings per school year are scheduled.
ELPACĀ Testing
ELPAC testing will be held in the spring.
Students will report to their 1st period teacher for attendance, where they will be given a pass to go to the PE health room for the exam.
Please remember to send your child to school with their Chromebook fully charged, their Chromebook charger, and headphones (not wireless) if they have a pair they prefer to use during the exam. Testing will begin at 8:30 a.m. so it is important that students arrive to school on time.
If you have any questions regarding the ELPAC test, please contact vice principal Angela Kretsch or ELSAT Sonia Barron.
See the Peterson calendar for ELPAC test dates.
